BEIJING: Chinese doctors treating ailing Nobel prize laureate Liu Xiaobo warned US and German medical experts Saturday he is too sick to travel, according to the hospital treating him.

"The process of transferring the patient is unsafe" doctors told the experts who are in China to examine Liu after they asked about the possibility of treating the laureate overseas, the statement said.
