LONDON: Incidents at London Bridge and nearby Borough Market are "terrorist" in nature, police said Sunday, following reports of a van running over pedestrians and stabbings in a busy nightlife area.

"At 0025 hrs 4/6/17 the incidents at London Bridge and Borough Market were declared as terrorist incidents," the police said on Twitter, adding that a third reported incident at Vauxhall was unrelated.
