LONDRES: Britain's top counter-terrorism officer said police suspect "Islamist-related terrorism" was behind an attack outside parliament on Wednesday which left four people dead and around 40 people injured.

"Islamist-related terrorism is our assumption," Mark Rowley told journalists. The male assailant was shot dead after mowing down pedestrians and stabbing a policeman.
