Man accused of groping co-passenger on plane argues 'Donald Trump says it's ok'

During the 2016 US presidential campaign, a tape surfaced on which Trump can be heard bragging about grabbing women by their genitals.

A man who was accused of groping a woman on an aeroplane told the US police that President Donald Trump had said it was "ok to grab women". 

The accused, identified as Bruce Michael Alexander was charged in New Mexico with "abusive sexual conduct" after he groped the person sitting in the front seat, reported BBC.

The woman said that she woke up from sleep after being touched "on her right side at and around her 'bra line'".

However, she thought it was an accident at first but later realised it was voluntary after being groped a second time. 

During the 2016 US presidential campaign, a tape surfaced on which Trump can be heard bragging about grabbing women by their private parts.  

The tape was of a 2005 conversation with TV host Billy Bush where Trump can be heard saying that "you can do anything" to women and "grab them by the p***y".
