A new agro service centre has been opened in the Alangad block panchayat.
“Alangad is leading mostly in non-agro projects. The new centre will help Alangad venture into the agriculture field as well,” said Suresh Muttam, standing committee chairman of the block panchayat.
Block panchayat president Rani Mathai said that the agro centre will be equipped with modern agricultural machinery, which will be made available to farmers.
