'Gargasa' fame Komal Kumar, who made his debut with 'Chamkaayisi Chindivudaayisi' with Nidhi Subbaiah is all set to appear on the silver screen not with one heroine but four in 'Govindaaya Namaha'.

The actresses are Parul, Madhulika, Anna Georgia and Rekha. The music for 'Govindaaya Namaha' — aimed at tickling funny bones of cinegoers — has been composed by Gurukiran. All the songs, especially 'Pyar Ki Agbittaithe', have become a huge hit.

“I like the song Pyar Ki Abgittaithe. It is really dear to me,’’ says Parul, one of the heroines who graced the audio launch of 'Govindaaya Namaha'. She also said that she learnt a lot during the shoot and hopes that Kannada cine-goers welcome and encourage 'Govindaaya Namaha'.

“All the songs are good. I would like to wish everyone good luck for the audio of Govindaaya Namaha,’’ says Parul.

When asked whether Parul faced any difficulty during the shooting, “No, there was no difficulty at all. Komal was very helpful and encouraging on the sets,’’ said Parul with a smile.

The film 'Govindaaya Namaha' has Mukhyamantri Chandru, Tabala Nani, Kirloskar Satya and Harish Raj in the star cast. Its talkie portion was shot at Badami, Aihole, Bijapur, Chickmagalur, Mangalore, Honnavara and other locations for 28 days.

Murali, Robert and Prabhu Srinivas are the choreographers for the film. The audio function began with the talking doll and Professor Krishne Gowda indulging in a hilarious chat.

Komal Kumar was seen very happy in the company of Parul too. Kumar also said that his film Govindaaya Namaha would not disappoint the audience.

“I am confident of its success and sure that it will not create any controversy since its title is in Kannada,’’ said Kumar.

Meanwhile, Mukhyamanthri Chandru came down heavily on a few directors who were fond of English titles.

“These directors and producers make Kannada films but prefer English titles. I am of the opinion that such films with English titles are not qualified for subsidy from the state government,’’ said Mukhyamanthri Chandru.

Brimming with confidence about the success of his maiden film, director Pavan Wadiyar, a software engineer, has said that 'Govindaaya Namaha' has all the ingredients that are necessary to entertain the audience.

“I can assure you that the audience will either be smiling or clapping every 10 seconds throughout 'Govindaaya Namaha',’’ said the director.
