BANGALORE: The Karnataka Knowledge Commission (KKC) is all set to get down to work with the state government constituting six working groups in various fields to look into the current status and seek recommendations to improve the field.

The Commission, formed under the chairmanship of National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS) Director Kasturirangan, had taken a decision at its meeting held on September 16 to form working groups to give recommendation in various fields, in the same mould as the National Knowledge Commission.

As per the order, the following groups have been constituted: working group on school education & literacy; higher education; health care; humanities, social sciences, law and management; vocational education; and working group on library and knowledge networks.
