Operation Smile-II: Attempt to Rescue Missing Children Begins Tomorrow

Second round of Operation Smile-II, aimed at tracing and rescuing missing children, will be launched from tomorrow in Odisha.

BHUBANESWAR: The second round of Operation Smile-II, aimed at tracing and rescuing missing children, will be launched from tomorrow in Odisha.

The operation will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will start from January 1 and continue till the 15th. The second phase would begin from January 16 and end on January 31. The first phase would be carried out within the state unlike the second.

State crime branch police would visit different places to rescue missing children. Notably, under Operation Smile-I, Odisha police have rescued 900 children in 2015.
