VISAKHAPATNAM: The Visakhapatnam Port Trust and Dredging Corporation of India Ltd jointly conducted elocution and essay writing competitions for college students on the topic ‘Public participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption’ on Wednesday.
As many as 45 students participated in the competitions and winners would be given prizes during the Vigilance Awareness Week celebrations and would be invited to attend a workshop on the ‘Role of RTI in Public participation in promoting integrity and eradicating corruption’ to be held at Visakha Public Library on November 4.
Visakhapatnam Port Trust in association with Dredging Corporation of India Limited will observe Vigilance Awareness Week from October 31 to November 5, under the auspices of Central Vigilance Commission to spread awareness against corruption.
