VIJAYAWADA: The Krishna district division of AP Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has conducted surprise raids in Vijayawada circle on Tuesday.
The Vigilance and Security of AP Transco filed 243 cases and collected penalty of `3.77 lakh.
As many as 89 vigilance officials conducted the raids in Nuzvid division under the supervision of M Vijay Kumar, superintendent engineer, operation circle, APSPDCL, Vijayawada. The vigilance teams inspected 2,982 connections and identified various malpractices.
