Vignan varsity hosts tech expo

GUNTUR: The Vignan University conducted an exhibition of projects, Techno Aavishkaara, at the Wolf Hall grounds, opposite Andhra Christian (AC) College here on Sunday.

Regional Intermediate Officer, Guntur, Z S Ramachandra Rao inaugurated the exhibition. The expo featured models and exhibits by Vignan students in the latest technologies like Internet of Things, Big Data and Robo technology.

Vignan’s Nirula Institute of Technology and Science for Women, Vignan’s LARA Institute of Technology & Science and Vignan University students showcased innovations like e-Helmet, ‘hand talk assistant for physically challenged, solar tracking system and others.

As many as 6,000 students from high school and Intermediate attended the expo. Vignan University Vice-Chancellor Dr. M Y S Prasad, Engineering Department Dean Dr. V Madhusudhana Rao, IT Services Dean Dr. K V Krishna Kishore and others participated.
