DSK MotoWheels, the proud partner of Hyosung has now joined hands with one of the oldest Italian Motorcycle Manufacturer- Benelli. The bikes from Benelli will enter India via CKD route then will be assembled and sold by DSK in India. As per the announcement, the first phase of this meet will bring 5 TNT (Tornado Naked Tre) motorcycles by 2014 end. DSK-Binelli's product line-up is as follows:
1. Benelli TNT 302 (BN 302): BN 302 is an entry level performance naked motorcycle that houses a 300cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. The motor is mated to a 6-speed transmission and is tuned to churn out a maximum power of 37bhp with a peak torque of 27Nm. Built on a steel trestle frame, TNT 302 is coupled with inverted front forks and rear adjustable unit suspension. The 120/70 and 160/60 tyres at the front and the rear respectively envelop the DOT-D aluminum alloys.
2. Benelli TNT 600i (BN 600i): Moving up the line-up, this machine stands as a more powerful and robust streetfighter. Incorporated with 600cc, liquid-cooled inline-four engine, which is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The mill is configured to churn out a maximum power output of 82bhp along with 52Nm of peak torque. The bike at the front is crafted on steel trestle that further extends it with aluminum alloy casting rear frame. Benelli has packed TNT 600i with 50mm upside down front forks and rear unit adjustable suspension with aluminium swingarm. The machine runs on Metzeler Sportec 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres with light and sporty alloys.
3. Benelli TNT 600GT (BN 600GT): The manufacturer has given TNT 600i a whole new look by fitting semi-fairing, more comfortable seats, improved headlamp with projector light, under-belly exhaust, bigger 27-L fuel tank, 15kg extra and reduced wheelbase. With some new features and add-ons the company has created a sports tourer, which is named as TNT 600GT.
4. Benelli TNT 899: It is a mid-weight performance bike, which houses a 899cc, liquid-cooled, inline-three with balancer shaft, Walbro Ecua 1 ignition system and electronic fuel injection. The engine is tuned to generated a supreme power of 121bhp plus supreme torque of 88Nm. Marzocchi 50mm inverted forks are equipped to the front and unit Sachs shock at the rear. Wider tyres at both the ends comes fixed with dual 320mm floating disc brakes with radial mounted Brembo 4 piston calipers at the front and 240mm wave disc brake with Brembo 2 piston caliper at the rear.
5. Benelli TNT 1130R: Showcasing the body of TNT 899, this elder sibling roars with a bigger displacement of 1131cc with the same engine configuration. The bigger capacity engine uses a better exhaust muffler and generates 158bhp of raw power along with a net torque of 120Nm. Fully adjustable upside down forks by Marzocchi are equipped at the front and ZF Sachs shock at the rear.
