Triumph Motorcycles after analyzing the Indian two-wheeler market for a period of over one year, has launched 2 advance trims of its amazing Tiger 800. Christened as XRx and XCx, the manufacturer has rolled them with a competent price tag of Rs. 11.6 lac and Rs. 12.7 lac respectively. The bikes are made available in India via CKD route. Besides these two motorcycles, the company is expected to launch Tiger XR later this year.
Triumph Tiger XCx and XRx are planted with an 800cc, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC, inline triple-cylinder engine that is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Tuned to churn out a maximum power of 93.7bhp at 9,250rpm and a supreme torque of 79Nm at 7,850rpm, the motor does a better management of heat and performs efficient fuel combustion. The fuel consumption capacity of the motorcycles has been improved by 17 percentage, which is assisted by a 19 liter of fuel tank capacity.
Constructed on a Tubular steel trellis frame, both the machines get an input of different pair of suspension kits. Triumph Tiger XCx rules on all types of terrains with the equipment of WP front suspension 43mm USD forks and rear WP mono-shock with remote reservoir, adjustable pre-load and rebound damping. While, Triumph Tiger XRx eats bumps like a sport with the help of Showa front suspension 43mm USD forks while the rear suspension is Showa mono-shock-170mm rear wheel travel with hydraulically adjustable preload.
With a strong aesthetics of an adventure motorcycle, the technological updates that makes it a dream to ride are Switchable Anti-lock Brake System, Ride by Wire, Throttle Maps, Triumph Traction Control (TTC), Three Riding Modes, Cruise Control and Trip Computer. Additional features of both the variants are engine protection bars, advanced trip computer, Road and Off-Road riding modes, configurable rider riding mode, auto-cancel indicators, center stand, hand guards, aluminum sump guard and Auxiliary 12V power socket.
The standard equipment of XCx are spoked wheels, high level front mudguard, adjustable front suspension, trip computer, radiator guard, sump guard, 12V power socket and adjustable brake & clutch levers. While standard features of XRx are cast wheels, trip meter, sump guard, adjustable brake & clutch levers and 12V power socket.
