CHENNAI: Kunnath Pharmaceuticals has refuted allegation against its product, Musli Power X-tra. It has been alleged that the product has 33 per cent presence of a chemical called Tadalafil.

Terming it as a malicious and vicious campaign at the behest of multinationals and competitors, its Chairman and Managing Director K C Abraham, at a press conference in New Delhi last week, reiterated that Musli Power X-tra is purely an ayurvedic product which is 100 per cent safe and with zero per cent side effects.

“I want to rebut all charges of presence of Tadalafil orany chemical in our product. Musli Power X-tra is made up of eight herbal and one herbo-mineral ingredient, all of which are well documented in the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia,” he said.

Announcing a cash reward of Rs 5 crore if the charge of presence of chemicals or any synthetic steroids in the product is proved, the CMD also said the company will stop producing Musli Power X-tra from the day the allegation is proved.
