Vinfast to establish 32 dealerships across 27 cities in India 

The carmaker will commence pre-booking of its two models - VF 6 and VF 7 - from July 15.

NEW DELHI: Vietnamese electric carmaker Vinfast has signed partnership agreements with 13 dealer groups to establish 32 dealerships across 27 cities in India. VinFast, which is all set to launch its first electric vehicle in India, aims to establish 35 dealerships here by the end of CY 2025. 

The carmaker will commence pre-booking of its two models - VF 6 and VF 7 - from July 15.

The initial set of dealerships will be established in key urban and emerging EV markets, including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Cochin, Bhubaneshwar, Trivandrum, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Surat, Calicut, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Shimla, Agra, Jhansi, Gwalior, Vapi, Baroda and Goa.

As we prepare to bring our electric SUVs to Indian roads, we are focused on ensuring that customers across key cities have seamless access to VinFast’s world-class products and support infrastructure.”

Alongside, VinFast said that it has tied up with Global Assure for 24/7 roadside assistance, dedicated call center support, and mobile service; myTVS and RoadGrid for a pan-India EV Charging solution and service network to deliver quick, reliable aftersales support. VinFast has also joined hands with BatX Energies for high-voltage battery recycling and repurposing solutions. 

“With a sharp focus on network readiness and strategic ecosystem partnerships, the company is steadily building the foundation for a long-term, sustainable presence in one of the world’s most dynamic EV markets,” said Vinfast in a statement. 

VinFast is investing $500 million in a manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The facility is expected to be operational soon with plans to scale up production to 1.5 lakh electric cars annually. The automaker also aims to use India as a base for exports to the Middle East and Africa.
