Union Budget 2017: Two new All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Jharkhand and Gujarat

New Delhi: Finance minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday announced the union budget for the year 2017-18. 

In the health sector the central government is committed to making changes , said Jaitley. 

Among the big announcements around 1.5 lakh health sub-centres to be converted to Health Wellness Centres and senior citizens of the country will get smart cards similar to Aadhar for health. 

The finance minister also announced setting up of two new All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in Jharkhand and Gujarat in the coming year
