BANGALORE: Tension prevailed at the Chamarajapet Hindu cemetery near T R Mill here on saturday over the proposal to construct an electric crematorium over the existing burial ground by the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) at a cost of Rs 3.80 crore. Chamarajapet MLA B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan had called a local residents’ meeting to know their opinions and seek suggestions on the electric crematorium.
