Historian and archeologist Dr Ron Charles will present special lectures in Bangalore this week. The US based historian will speak about the historic events of planet Earth including Noah’s Ark and the flood that destroyed almost the entire human race. The Bethel AG Church has invited him to speak on April 22, 23 and 24 in Bangalore.

Dr Ron Charles has been involved for more than 30 years with humanitarian relief, international water purifi cation, archeological investigations, and teaching and training in various institutions.

He is the author of seven books, the recent one being, The Search, a culmination of more than 30 years of historical research.

Dr Charles conducts teachings on the life of Jesus, apart from holding historical and archaeological seminars, Islamic cultural studies, fi nancial management seminars and so on.

Although he earned a BS in civil engineering and worked as a structural engineer for 12 years, his passion has always been in history and archaeology, particularly pertaining to the New Testament and Roman era history. Dr Charles holds an MA in historical theology, a PhD in ancient history, a PhD in international relations and a ThD in historical theology. He spent 33 years, travelled to more than 50 countries and was involved with numerous archaeological investigations in five different countries in an attempt to authenticating information regarding the life of Jesus.

In 1990 he started the CUBIT Foundation as an international archeological research and educational foundation, which he reorganised into an educational humanitarian foundation, along with his wife, Paula.

Cubit Foundation now takes care of educational training and meeting the needs of the oppressed.

He will speak on April 22 (8.30 am, 10.30 am and 6.30 pm) , 23 (10.30 am and 6.30 pm) and 24 (8.30 am, 10.30 am and 6.30 pm) at Bethel AG Church, No 67, Ring Road, Hebbal.
