BANGALORE: Central crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have raided a CD/DVD shop and recovered pirated CDs of latest films including Kannada films worth `5 lakh from there.

The police arrested two persons, Praveen Kumar (30) and Ravi (21) of Vidyaranyapura. The film CDs include recent Kannada flims such as Hudugaru, Jaki, Telegu films such as Raj, Ragada, Ravanan, Ondemataram in Tamil, Kartik Calling Kartik, Rakta Charitra, Rajneeti in Hindi and Transformers3, Cast away in English.

The police recovered these CDs from Tarang, the Cyber Hut shop at Nanjappa Road. Police have also recovered DVD writers, empty DVDs and cash of `500.
