BANGALORE: B V Jagadish Science Centre hosted programmes on Sunday, on the eve of Children’s Science Day, in association with Galileo Science Club. Around 50 children participated with parents in the event that combined science with Children’s Day. Y M N Murthy, president, Humour Club International inaugurated the event. The event had a space science quiz with written and visual questions, which was followed by screening of movies on Chandrayaan, Astronomy Telescope and prominent scientists. The highlight of the day was Anusha Jagadeesh, who enthralled the children by singing songs in reverse. “The idea was to combine science and children’s day. The children seemed happy,” said Nagaraj Ananth.
