SVCE signs MOU with London college

The faculty of Engineering Science of Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Sriperumbudur, and Built Engineering of London South Bank University, London, UK, signed an MOU on June 16 at SVCE campus to promote education, research and knowledge transfer programmes.

It is anticipated that this partnership will permit the academia of the institutions to contribute to research in the fields of  biotechnology, robotics, civil engineering, networking, artificial intelligence and  mechetronics.

Principal of SVCE Professor Sivanandham said, “The major aims of this alliance are to corroborate our research activities with the expertise from LSBU and to prepare the students with hands-on training in the key areas of engineering at LSBU.”

Professor Rao Bhamidimarri of the  LSBU said, ‘The university will provide post-graduate and doctoral degree programmes for the students and faculty of SVCE at a subsidised rate and also establish research collaborations.
