RB Udhayakumar, AIADMK MLA from Sattur Assembly constituency, was sworn in as the new Minister for Sports and Youth Welfare, at a simple function held at Raj Bhavan here.
Governor K Rosaiah administered the oath of office and oath of secrecy to Udhayakumar in the presence of Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Assembly Speaker P Dhanapal, State Ministers, Chief Secretary Sheela Balakrishana, IAS officers were among those who took part in the ceremony. Later, the Council of Ministers posed for a group photo with the Governor.
