Puneeth Rajkumar has confirmed his next film. To be directed by Madesh, it will be a remake of the Telugu hit Dookudu. The director who is currently busy with Darshan’s Brindavana will start with the new project once Puneeth completes his current project Ninnindale.

Dookudu which made a lot of noise in Telugu. It starred Mahesh Babu and has been dubbed in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam and been remade in Bengali. The producers of the Telugu film are producing the Kannada remake too.

Puneeth was busy completing formalities at the US consulate in Chennai earlier this week as a lot of portions of Ninnindale will be shot in the States. He plans to start working on the Dookudu remake sometime in November.
