Quilled Weaving

Things you need

•     Four quilling strips (I have taken two different colours as it makes it easy to weave and gives a double shade. You can use one single colour or four different shades too)
•     Glue
•     Jump rings and hooks (if you want to convert it into an earring)

How to

Step 1

Glue two strips (a white and a brown) together.

Step 2

Place the strips at a 90 degree angle and glue them.

step 3

Take the white strip and fold it towards the brown strip so as to form a loop. Now repeat the step using the brown strip.

Step 4

Now take the second brown strip and pass it over the looped brown strip and under the looped white strip. Repeat the process with a white strip. Carefully pull all the four strips tight and the base is done.

Step 5

Keep repeating the process till almost the end of the strip. Then glue the strips and once it dries, cut the extra bit off.

Step 6

To form an earring, I glued the edges together so as to form a circle. While it was drying I used another strip and rolled it and glued it to the circle. Pass a jump ring that has an earring hook attached it to the tight coil.
