Sethu Bhaskara Students, Teachers Lauded on Annual Day

CHENNAI:Sethu Bhaskara Matriculation Higher Secondary School celebrated its 27th annual day.

Dr G Viswanathan, vice chancellor, Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University, was the chief guest and Dr Sendur Kumaran, associate professor, KVK Agricultural College and Research Institute, Kundrakudi, was the guest of honour.

Prizes were distributed to class toppers and centum scorers. Teachers with 100 per cent attendance for the academic year 2013-14 and teachers who had taught for 10, 15 and 20 years in the school were given gold coins. Teachers whose students had scored 100 per cent in Classes 10 and 12 were given gold coins too. The day ended with a show of fireworks.
