Arijit Singh to Perform in City

BENGALURU: Arijit Singh needs no introduction. His emotionally charged voice and range is already imprinted on the minds of listeners after the raging success of Tum Hi Ho, the love anthem from Aashiqui 2. The song won him the Filmfare and IIFA best male playback singer awards in 2013 and 2014 respectively.

Arijit participated in the reality-singing series, Fame Gurukul in 2005 and became an assistant to music director Pritam.

His breakout year was 2013 as the music of Ashiqui 2 ruled the charts and brought him countless accolades. Tum Hi Ho was a critical and commercial success and topped the Indian iTunes chart over 61 times. In 2014, Arijit recorded Dilchaspiya, his first track for AR Rahman, in Kochadaiiyaan. He also recorded Mast Magan in 2 States for Shankar Ehsaan Loy, which also topped iTunes India charts.

Arijit Singh also won  GIMA Awards  for the duet Samjhawa and the solo Muskurane Ki Wajah.

The singing star will be in Bengaluru to perform at The Alive India Concert- Season 3. The concert will conclude with his performance that will showcase many of his unforgettable hits.
