BENGALURU: Ingredients. Ragi flour - 1/2 cup Rice flour - 1/2 cup Small onion chopped - 1 Fruit salt (Eno) - 1/2 tsp Salt to taste.For the tempering. 1 tbsp oil 1/2 tsp cumin seeds 1/2 tsp chana dal (split bengal grams).Method. Mix together ragi flour, rice flour and salt. Add a little water to make like a batter that can be poured into idli moulds. Add chopped onions and mix well. Heat oil in a small pan. Add cumin seeds and chana dal. When the chana dal is a little red, pour this tempering over the batter. Now add the fruit salt. Mix well and pour into the idli moulds. Steam for 20 minutes. Ready to serve.
