Dry Weather to Continue in Karnataka

BENGALURU:  Dry weather conditions in the state is expected to continue over the next week. The temperature spike reported in different parts of the state during the last week of February has subsided, with average temperatures being recorded.

According to Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Cell, there are chances of light showers in some places of Malnad region during the next two-three days. Temperatures in North Interior Karnataka, have been within normal during the past seven to nine days.

A scientist at KSNDMC said temperatures hovered around 34 to 38 degrees in most parts of the state during the last two days. A dip in relative humidity  also helped people get a respite from the relative rise in temperatures, he added.
