BENGALURU: Swachha, a city-based NGO and social worker Ramprasad moved the HC  against the government for introducing polyester-based “excise adhesive label” in place of existing paper-based hologram embedded excise adhesive labels being affixed on bottle of Indian Made Foreign Liquor. The petitioners said the polyester labels were environment hazards and non-biodegradable and recommended for “paper-based excise label with hologram”.
