 A 36-year-old man was arrested for clicking photos of a college girl in Nagasandra Metro station on Thursday.

BENGALURU: A 36-year-old man was arrested for clicking photos of a college girl in Nagasandra Metro station on Thursday. The accused Ramachandra Dhora is a native of Odisha and a resident of Makali in Nelamanagala. He works as a security guard in a shopping mall in Majestic.A senior police officer said, “The girl, a resident of Ulsoor, had come to Nagasandra to meet her friend. 

When she was waiting outside the metro station, Ramachandra started clicking her photos in his mobile phone. The girl, who noticed the flash, went up to him and questioned him. Ramachandra started running and the girl raised an alarm. The locals, including auto drivers, chased and thrashed him before handing over to Bagalagunte police.” Police found her photos in his mobile phone.

During interrogation, Ramachandra admitted to have clicked her photos but told police that he did not have any intention to misuse them. He has been taken into judicial custody. Police have also gathered CCTV footage from the Metro station as part of the investigation.
