WHAT started in 1993, at Kasi Arcade in T Nagar has now burgeoned into eight stores, with the latest one in Anna Nagar. Narayana Pearls and Gems, opened its outlet in Shanthi Colony, with their wide range of jewellery crafted with coral, kundhan, polki, semi-precious and precious stones and meenakari work, their USP remaining as innovative as casting the stones on gold plated silver base.
“In times of recession, this is the best you can buy. It’s not as expensive as gold, but looks like gold,” said K Venkoji Rao, proprietor, Narayana Pearls and Gems.
“Also it is possible for the customer to order a design, however, intricate it may be. The design is replicated and delivered in less than an hour. This makes it possible for women to own truly customised jewellery that no one else possesses,” he added.
Narayana Pearls and Gems, renowned for weaving wonders with birthstones also offers indepth astrology consultations in-house. They are also conducting a jewellery designing competition where participants have to sketch a piece of jewellery.
