Musk in perfumes is considered the uniting force resulting in romance and revelry, according to perfumer of Body Shop who invented a scent with it called White Musk Midnight Iris.
The law of aromatic attraction is underpinned by solid science. Companies like Axe have leapt upon the power of our natural sex pheromones, which when emitted powerfully attract the opposite sex. And Chennaiites seem to have found an easy way to ‘fall in love’. “For me to get attracted to a man, it’s only about the perfume!” says Sona Heiden, an actress known for her oomph and luxurious lifestyle.

What started off as an admiration for his scent and natural body odour turned into a mature-age marriage and we are happy.” Although there is a huge lobby decrying perfumes for melting the ozone layer, they seem to be melting hearts. And all this seems to be good for the perfumers.
