Ramya, a class 10 student who lived with her uncle Ramesh after her parents died, had complained to Saleem of sexual harassment by her uncle, and wanted him to marry her.

Saleem had assured her that they would marry as soon as she completed her 10th Board exams.

On April 21, the couple eloped to Salem and got married.

Meanwhile,  Ramya’s uncle Ramesh had lodged a missing complaint about the girl claiming her to be his daughter and that she was only 16-years-old.
