CHENNAI: Inauguration of the Eweek 2012 was conducted at the Anna auditorium of the Velammal Engineering College, Chennai. The venue saw an enthusiastic crowd of students and volunteers from the Entrepreneurship cell, Lemonivy.
This grand occasion started off with an invocation song by students and a welcome address, which was delivered by Kanimozhi, Chairman, Lemonivy. The chief guests of the day, S SivaKumar, associate of iSource BPO; Suresh Krishnan, Owner of Paradise Builders, Isha Homes, B G Giri, Founder of Kinship Technologies and the other dignitaries shared their views on entrepreneurship.
The week includes a line-up of events such as Corporate Cricket, Woman Entrepreneurship, E-Awards and TEDx.
The release of E-Week 2012 Calendar was remarkable. Copies of the same were handed over to the dignitaries. It revealed the blueprint of Eweek 2012.
The Principal, Velammal Engineering College, R S Kumar addressed the gathering on entrepreneurship and the strategies adopted to encounter obstacles in the future. S Sivakumar, Fintrack systems technology, encouraged the young audience to learn more business ideas and emphasised on the spirit of entrepreneurship. Suresh Krishnan, emphasised on building leadership qualities and being able to visualise one’s goal. Giri Balasubramanian, founder of Kinship Technologies, enunciated, “Think, do, sustain.” Finally, CEO of Lemonivy, concluded with a vote of thanks. The inauguration was quite a feast and proved to be a grand success.
