BSNL to launch telecom courses

State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has planned to conduct short-term vacation courses on telecom services for the students of engineering and management studies. BSNL, which has conducted various training courses for its own staff earlier, is now planning to reach out to students through their short- term courses. Students can undergo various training programmes that will enable them to work more efficiently on their projects.

The duration and fees for the courses will vary according to the courses chosen by the students.

The courses will be conducted at Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC) in Maraimalai Nagar and also at its affiliated training centre, District Telecom Training Centre (DTTC), in Tambaram.

 BSNL also offers in-plant training, internship training on telecom engineering and management, apart from project studies. The courses are scheduled in the month of December. Interested candidates can visit the website www.rttcchennai.bsnl.co.in for further details.
