SRM signs MoU with SERC

SRM University, Ramapuram Campus, Department of Civil Engineering made a special beginning by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC).

SRM University, Ramapuram Campus, Department of Civil Engineering made a special beginning by entering into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC). The MoU is aimed at imparting special training and providing students an opportunity to work on high value research projects. This MoU facilitates the exchange of scientific and technical information, which are in the public domain. Conferences, workshops and seminars of social and technical relevance will be organised jointly. This MoU is expected to boost the enthusiasm of research scholars and faculty of department of Civil Engineering, SRM, Rampuram Campus to work in current areas of research in association with SERC.

The agreement was signed by Dr N Sethu Raman, registrar, SRM University and K Vasudevan, head, RPBD, SERC in the presence of Dr Nagesh Iyer, director, SERC, Dr Subbiah Bharathi, Dean, Dr Antony Michael Raj, Vice Principal, and Dr T Ch Madhavi, head, Department of Civil Engineering, SRM. All the heads of the laboratories and senior scientists of SERC were also present.
