CHENNAI: Indian Officer Association (IOA) organised an ENT seminar-cum-exhibition here recently, which was headed by K Alauddin, president, Indian Officers’ Association. Dr M Kumaresan spoke on ENT treatment techniques, given to patients using technology and explained how to prevent the diseases in advance.

“I would like to help senior citizens and make them recover from minor difficulties,” he said, demonstrating the related videos onscreen. General manager G N Veerababhu Subramanian, said this seminar was held to create awareness among the people through the virtual reality medicine. “On behalf of IOA, we are running cardiology, gynecology and dental clinics, besides a general care dispensary. We don’t charge any fee from the public. In fact, tablets are given free of cost. Cardiologists and dentists undertake regular visit to the dispensaries,” he said, adding that the association have legal aid for public.

Secretary Kandhaswamy, S Nagalswamy, General Secretary Indian Officers’ Association, S Rajanbabu, Joint secretary Indian Officers Association witnessed the event.
