CHENNAI : Artisan Crafts Fair, an exhibition-cum-sale, is being held at Sri Sankara Hall, TTK Road, Alwarpet, from today. Organised by Banu Priya Handicrafts, the items on display will include dress material (saris, salwar kameez, kurits, dupattas, long skirt, leggings, night wear) from Jaipur, Rajasthan, Kashmir and Odisha. Besides these, the exhibition will have fancy jewellery, gift items, Tanjore paintings, bangles, paper mache-teracotta toys, Diwan set, perfumes, Kolkata clay, semi-precious stones, jute bags, bedsheets, pillow covers, window curtains, mouth freshner, table mat, cushion covers and cookery items. Discounts up to 25 per cent is available on handloom items. The expo is on till November 13 between 10 am and 10 pm. For details, call 7299156625.
