CHENNAI: The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) moves to Malaysia this year, and had actors like Khushboo, Pranitha Subhash , Kriti Kharbanda, Devi Sri Prasad , Rana Daggubati and Shivakarthikeyan just to announce the dates. The award ceremony slated for September 12 and 13, will have performances from actors Tamannaah Bhatia, Simbu, Shriya Saran, Shivrajkumar, Devi Sri Prasad, Nivin Pauly, Regina Cassandra, Pranitha Subhash, Adah Sharma, Amulya, Isha Talwar, Lakshmi Menon, Nandita, Sharmila Mandre, Kriti Kharbanda and Keerthy Suresh. “The third edition of SIIMA will be an event that the Indian and foreign audience can look forward to. Loaded with magnificent performances from their favourite stars, the awards will be a treat to watch. I thank all the stars and our partners for extending their support,” said Brinda Prasad, chairperson- SIIMA.

Some of the leading nominations for 2014 include Attarintiki Daredi for 12 categories in Telugu; Drishyam and Amen for eight categories in Malayalam; Googly for 11 categories in Kannada and Kadal for 8 categories in Tamil.  SIIMA is supported by Malaysia Major Events, a division of Malaysia Convention and  Exhibition Bureau, an agency under Malaysia’s Ministry of Tourism and Culture.
