CHENNAI: Music director Harris Jayaraj, who has scored the background music for the upcoming flick Yennai Arindhaal, was conferred with the Life Time Achievement Award by the Rotary Club of Madras East at a function held recently. VGP Ravidas gave away the award to the artist in the presence of governor K Rosaiah, who was the chief guest. “I started learning music at the age of 12. I was inspired by my father who was a guitarist. I have foregone a normal childhood of playing outdoor games to quench the passion for music I had,” said Harris.
