CHENNAI: The Australian Alumni Excellence Awards India 2015 that were presented by the Australian Alumni Association (AAA), India, and supported by the Australian Consulate General and Austrade, were given away in the city recently. Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, heir-apparent and Dewan to the Prince of Arcot, presented the award to Star Sports presenter and commentator Suhail Chandhok. Chandhok received the award in the category of outstanding achievement in sports, art and culture. The other categories of awards included entrepreneurship, education and public service, and sports, art and culture. Officials from the Australian Consulate, Australian Trade Commission, Australian Alumni of Indian origin, business delegates, and members of the State administration, were present.
