CHENNAI: More than 75 premises of ETA Group and Buhari Group across the country were raided by the Income Tax department today. A total of 750 officials are taking part in the searches, sources told Express.
The raids are happening in the wake of searches conducted at the house and offices of former Tamil Nadu chief secretary P Rama Mohana Rao and his son in Chennai.
Income tax sources said that the raids are being carried out in Chennai, Hyderabad, Thoothukudi, Madurai, Mumbai, Kolkata and Delhi. Further details are awaited.
