CHENNAI : Dr Prathap C Reddy, founder chairman, Apollo Hospitals received the Lions Humanitarian award on Monday at a function held in New Delhi.According to a press release from the hospital, the award was conferred by Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. Reddy was recognised his work in increasing accessibility and affordability of healthcare.
The Lions Humanitarian award is given every year by the Lions Club International Foundation to an individual, or an organisation with exemplary humanitarian efforts.
