HYDERABAD: A swirling mix of urban contemporary influences in heady creative style, Swati Srivastava is a tour de force in Indian fashion. Her label is available at locations across India at stores in New Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai and Chennai.

The popular American resto-lounge Thank God It’s Friday’s (TGI F) celebrated its 13 year presence in India by organising a sizzling fashion show at its Banjara Hills outlet.

The customers at TGIF enjoyed the event along with their favourite food as the models sashayed through the walkway wearing collections of fashion designer Swati Srivastava. The event was a part of the month-long fashion carnival organised in each of the cities where TGIF restaurants are located.

The carnival started in Delhi on November 6 followed by Mumbai and Bengaluru and finally capping the celebrations in Hyderabad.

Designer Swati Srivastava presented the collection Kahwa for fall winter 2010, which is inspired by the traditional crafts of West Bengal.

The models showcased the collection with elan and elegance which included flowing tunics, bandaged dresses, Indo-Western kurtis, jackets and achkans.
