Mosaic is an art form where small pieces of ceramic tiles, stone or glass are clubbed together to make a complete picture. The small multicoloured pieces, when arranged together to create forms, lines and patterns make for a very interesting composition. This aforesaid workshop involved nineteen artists working together, and each of them put in their individual style, exploring the various possibilities and strengths of the medium. Some of the artists who were a part of this workshop are Sarasawathi L, Sridhar Rao K, Ranjita JaiKishan, Akanksha , Suni l Loha r, Pavan Kumar,Pavani.T, Deepa Avani Rao , Aasha Radhika, Vikram C.H, Paramashivam, Dinesh Pimple, AksahyAnand, Rayees Ahmed, Bhaskar Rao and Maredu Ramu.
The medium of mosaic is a very interesting art form for an artist. And, from the art work at display, one can anticipate that each of the participating artists had a very good time arranging the pieces together to achieve the final expression.
