HYDERABAD: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has finalised the list of 30 villages which are likely to be merged with the corporation.

The list was presented to chief minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy by mayor B.

Kartika Reddy and commissioner MT Krishna Babu on Thursday.

The villages are Kothapet, Venkatapur, Boduppal, Balapur, Nizampet, Bachupally, Jalpalli, Almasguda, Meerpet, Badangpet, Peerzadiguda, Jillelaguda, Pahadisharief, Peeramchervu, Nagaram, Shamshabad, Bandlaguda, Hydershakote, Kismatpur, Narsingi, Puppalaguda, Manikonda, Neknempur, Vattinagulapalli, Pragatinagar, Kompally, Dulapally, Bandlaguda (Medak), Ameenpur and Tellapur.

The villages were chosen to regulate the development activity and provide basic amenities.
