HYDERABAD: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) is offering an M.Sc in Cosmetology. The course is the first of its kind in the country and is being run in collaboration with Anoo’s International Beauty School (AIBS), Hyderabad.
The two-year course will impart basic and advanced training in skin care, hair care, make-up as well as laser course and aroma therapy among others. To promote entrepreneurship, it will also focus on salon management skills and advanced clinical procedure.
The course also includes 2,500 hours of practical training. Graduates in any discipline are eligible and both men and women can apply.
