As a part of the Hydourite 100 days of celebration, Sufusion, a concert by Runa Rizvi and team was held on Saturday at the Marigold Hotel.

Participating in the concert besides Rizvi was Prakash Sontakke on the Hawaiin guitar, Ojas Adhiya on the tabla/ percussion, Ninad Mulaokar on the Flute, Vishal Dhumal on the keys and Harshwardhan Nasery on percussion and rhythm. Renowned percussionist Shivamani was also an huge attraction that evening.

Blending Sufi and fusion music, the accomplished classical Sufi artiste Runa Rizvi and her ensemble brought to Hyderabad, a melodic mélange of soulful Sufi songs, Indian folk music, Jazz harmonies, and world fusion. The evening captured the essence of Indian classical music and offered a contemporary combination of melodies sung by the versatile singer while her band which featured some of the finest young exponents of their respective fields of music, provided a tight musical background.
