Ram Charan’s guards beat up two techies

Express News Service

A high-voltage drama prevailed outside the Banjara Hills Police station on Sunday afternoon after two youths approached the police alleging that Tollywood star Ram Charan Tej’s bodyguards have beaten them up in the middle of the road near GVK mall. However, in a quick turn of events, Phaneesh and Kalyan, both aged 32, decided to walk away without filing a complaint after a long interaction with the cops.

A compromise was said to have been forced upon them after alleged interference of big bosses as Ram Charan Tej happens to be the son of Union tourism minister K Chiranjeevi, though the police denied the same.

Denying the allegation, West zone DCP G Sudheer Babu said, “It is not correct. First of all this was a small incident and what interest will police have in striking a compromise? They came to police station with the media. You should ask them why they do not want to complain. If they do, we will register a case,” he added.

The two victims also did not offer a proper explanation as to why they chose not to lodge a complaint against Ram Charan. It was a small incident and they wanted to end it here, was Phaneesh’s   dry reply.
