AP Extends Ban on Maoists

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders declaring eight organisations, including the CPM and Singareni Karmika Samakhya (SIKASA), as unlawful associations for a further period of one year, under AP Public Security Act 1992.

The following is the list of banned organisations: Communist Party of India (Maoist), Revolutionary Democratic Front (RDF), Radical Youth League (RYL), Rythu Coolie Sangham (RCS), Radical Students Union (RSU), Singareni Karmika Samakhya (SIKASA), Viplava Karmika Samakhya (VIKASA) and All India Revolutionary Students Federation (AIRSF).
